Problem with electricity

Hello,

I bought old camper l300 and electricity doesn't work properly. Both batteries are connected, however on the therminal switch only battery1 while is turn on. Also on battery 1 nothing Works. Can be anywhere any fuse or something?

First of all welcom in this Forum!

This is a example of how things could be connected.



As you can see there could be 1 or 2 Fuses (just follow the red wire  )

What is the make of your camper?

Hi fellows,
this circuit diagram is made to support a weak starter battery , if desired, by pressing the switch. Is the plan to charge the second battery whilst the motor is running, point 85 on relay has to be connectet with contact D+ on the alternator.

I bought CCE adapter and try if is something works. Plugs and lights on the 230V works, but only this. If I´m right Cyrix just swich from which battery is equipment  powered.
Please let me know if is cyrix two relays on the voltage converter under the stair to camper?
Can be any problem with voltage converter, when nothing on 12V doesn´t work?

Hi Robert,

Plugs and lights on the 230V works, What do you mean with this?
Everything works on 12v,exept the 220v wall outlets. The rest of the 220v will be converted to 12v. This 12v will charge the Batteries and all the lights in your Camper.
The converter ( or EBL) could look like the one in the picture

my panel doesn't look Like your. In camper I  have got in each lamp two switches and two types of bulb (12V and 230V). Switch on 230V Works properly. This is my panel. I tried to dissassembly panel and I can't aby fuses.

which model do you have ?
there are Camper Mobile with eg. Schaudt charger, from 230V to 12V
The second battery and the charger are in the staircase at EuraMobil.
and the fuse box is under the sink.

I think that is EURA. Under the sink i found fuse box. But I think that is for 230V. Am i right?

Hi Robert,
yes it is the incoming 230V.
the "converter" under the stairs to the camper (220V charger that charges the second battery with 12V)
has a 230V "fuse" on the side.

1. so you can check the inkomming 230V and the outgiong 12V.

2. in the engine compartment is a fuse, near the first battery, this connection goes to the second battery under the stairs to the camper, so you can ckeck the 12V charge from the alternator

Hello SUW,

I think convertor is ok. When i start engine i Can measure on the battery clamp voltages. Tha same is when I plug 230v socket to the caravanu. It mean secondary battery is charged. On the convertor are 2 relays. I don't know what they do.

Hi Robert,
the relay near the converter, one relay is for the 12V refrigerator.
it works only when the engine is running.
When you turn off the engine, the fridge is no longer 12V

Thank you. In which position must be switch on the panel and on the  fridge?
I try to measure convertor. When I take + on one of cables on the relay and - on the cover of convertor i measured 14,5 V. Is it ok?

Hi Robert,
you have two switches on the fridge,
Orange = 12V
Gray = 230V
up is turned on
and down is off

Charging current from 13.8 to max. 14.8 V

The switches on the panel (on the cupboard) are only control switches for the display of water and waste water tank
and of battery I (motor) and battery II (charger)

I check cables which are connected on one of relay. Each from 4 cables has got minus polarity. Something is wrong. Can be somewhere on this fórum manual?

 Hello,

I tried to disconect  battery II. Then measured again polarity. On the one from 4 cables is plus. However when i assembly back battery II again in all cables mínus polarity.
